Lately, I have been obsessed with chocolate covered strawberries. They have the perfect balance of fruit and chocolate. Making them at home never looks as good as the ones you see at the window of the godiva shop :( . Pinterest has showed me a cleaner and a more appealing way to make them using an ice tray.
All you will need is an :
- 1 Ice tray ( I like buying the ones with fancy shapes)
- Strawberries ( The smaller/medium size ones work best) also (Cut them into small pieces)
- Chocolate chips ( I like using the Hershey milk chocolate chips)
First melt the chocolate and then fill each of the compartments in the ice tray with chocolate, make sure it is 2/3 full. Then place the piece of cut strawberry in each of them and add a little more chocolate if not completely filled. Then put the tray in the freezer for 5-10 minutes to harden! :)
